Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026 | Last Updated: October 25, 2026

Welcome to Radio Vibes 88.8 FM Ratlam ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("Radio Vibes") available on Google Play Store and our website (radiovibes.in).

1. Permissions & Microphone Usage (Google Play Compliance)

Our mobile application includes an interactive "Connect Live to Studio" feature that allows listeners to speak live on-air with the Radio Jockey (RJ) in the studio.

• Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): We only access your device's microphone when you explicitly initiate a live call with the RJ. The microphone stream is used exclusively for real-time two-way voice communication during the active live call via Agora RTC.
• No Covert Recording: The app does NOT record, listen to, or store your voice in the background or when the call is inactive. Voice streams are transmitted live in real time and are NOT saved or uploaded to any permanent cloud storage.
• User Control: You can mute/unmute your microphone at any time during the call or disconnect the call immediately. You can also revoke microphone permission at any time through your device settings.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Radio Vibes app or website, we may collect the following minimal information:

• Listener Information (Optional): Your Name and Phone Number when you submit a request to connect live to the studio, send a birthday wish, or fill out an enquiry form.
• Technical & Streaming Logs: Device type, operating system version, and general network connectivity status to optimize audio buffer stream quality and ensure smooth playback.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide uninterrupted 24/7 live high-definition audio streaming of Radio Vibes 88.8 FM.
• To facilitate live caller interactions with studio RJ on-air.
• To broadcast requested birthday wishes and community greetings.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized studio call spam.

4. Data Security & Third-Party Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

All communications between your mobile device, our server, and real-time audio channels are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Real-time audio data is transmitted securely through Agora RTC infrastructure strictly for live voice communication.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for a general audience and do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

6. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of any contact information or enquiry submitted to our station. To request data removal, please contact our support desk at the email address below.
